Form for Reporting Unlawful Tobacco Sales

The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) can bring civil and criminal enforcement actions against those who sell or distribute, or possess for sale or distribution, cigarettes (or roll-your-own tobacco) whose brands are not listed on the District of Columbia Tobacco Directory.

By reporting suspected violations of the requirement that cigarettes be sold in the District of Columbia only if they are listed on the Tobacco Directory, you can help OAG to identify illegal conduct for possible enforcement action.

Although you are not required to identify yourself, it is helpful to do so. Your identity will be kept confidential unless you tell us otherwise.
